Bess is a visual storyteller through painting and graphic design. With a multidisciplinary approach to colour shape and imagery. Working in creative production for over 20 years, creating graphics for print and digital media. Working with ink, markings, mixed media acrylics and oil painting people, places and animals. Bess chooses projects with underpinnings of community impact and with a focus on environment.

 Born in Toronto, lives in Ottawa with her heart in Georgian Bay. Her work is influenced by The New Yorker, David Bowie, Billy Holiday, Egon Schiel and the beauty of nature.
